Steven Hanna will give you individual instruction in the art of the lost wax carving technique. You sculpt the wax with a dripper and carving tools in the shape that you want the silver design to be, then plaster is poured around the wax, which is put into a kiln. That creates a negative cavity where the metal is poured in. Your original way design that is made from start to finish in class then cast at a foundry. We do some finishing in the metal to complete your pendant, ring, or bracelet.
Space is very limited because of the individual instruction that is given to each student.
Advanced students are taught how to develop their own unique style, how to create a line to sell, pricing, and target marketing.

“I wouldn't be where I am now in my career without Steven's
help. I know the core of it comes from within me, but at the same
time having someone like Steven offering design and usiness advice is invaluable
to me. He's helped me to expand my own style, and keeps me focused
and positive about my abilities as a designer.”

“Steven is magic. He teaches each student the basics, then
waits to see where their creativity takes them. Learning the skill
is essential, but developing my own style was the greatest lesson
learned in those classes.” Eileen Russell, Eileen
