Maya Nishimura established ileava design after studying furniture and environmental design at Otis College of Arts and Design. The name of her line, ileava, comes from a word that describes the highest quality of something that is pure. It is her own little world, where her childhood memories, everyday influences and dreams becomes miniature sculptures that everyone can wear.
